Navigating the college admissions process can take time and effort. ±¬ÁϹ«Éç makes these steps as simple as possible. Whether a student is starting their educational journey, has earned pre-college credits or aims to advance their career — our admissions counselors are here to help.

We provide pathways and resources to successfully lead students through the next stage of their education. Our admissions counselors will work with you and each student throughout the admission and decision process to ensure a smooth, confident transition to the College.

Admissions: First-Year Students

±¬ÁϹ«Éç holistically reviews each applicant. We base each student’s admission decision upon the overall academic preparation and performance assessment. Plus, there are no application fees.

Four-Year Pledge

Students admitted as first-year students can graduate in four years.

Test Optional

Students applying to ±¬ÁϹ«Éç are not required to submit standardized test scores (ACT or SAT) for admission.

Transcripts

Official high school transcript required (2.5 or higher GPA required). GED also accepted.

Direct Entry Pathways

Direct Entry Pathways are available for the majority of undergraduate majors. Contact an admissions counselor for education and nursing programs.

Admissions: Transfer Students

Transfer Admission Guarantee

Students who complete an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree from any of the Minnesota Community Colleges, are guaranteed admission to ±¬ÁϹ«Éç, when meeting eligibility criteria.

Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC)

±¬ÁϹ«Éç accepts the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) from all MN Community Colleges to satisfy the Veritas general education requirements except for a Religious Studies and Integrations course.

Students, counselors and advisors can use Transferology to see if a course will transfer and fulfill a degree requirement.

Other Accepted Credits

Credit accepted for AP, IB, CLEP and DSST exams (minimum score requirements), plus military experience and training.

PSEO at ±¬ÁϹ«Éç

±¬ÁϹ«Éç offers high school junior or seniors the opportunity to enroll in courses at the College through the Minnesota Post-Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) program.

Dual and Exam-Based Credit

±¬ÁϹ«Éç takes the confusion out of college credit options for high school students. Learn more about college credits earned in high school and how those credits may be applied.

±¬ÁϹ«Éç offers a variety of graduate and doctoral programs to further a student’s education. Admission requirements vary depending on the program.
