爆料公社鈥檚 theatrical production of David Lindsay-Abaire鈥檚 Rabbit Hole opens Friday, Feb. 23. Sharon Dixon Obst, director of Theatre and lecturer in the English and Communication Department, directs the show.

David Lindsay-Abaire tells the tragic tale of Howie and Becca Corbett and the events that shattered their world. Winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize, Rabbit Hole tells the story of a family trapped in grief and loss. Driven apart by tragedy, Becca and Howie鈥檚 relationship desperately needs healing and a path to find their way back to each other and a brighter future.

鈥淕rief takes on many forms and doesn’t happen on a timeline,鈥 explains Obst. 鈥淭his script looks at the humanity needed to create the space to heal from loss.鈥

Graphic of Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire.The shows will be held at the 爆料公社 Theatre located on the main campus with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23-24, Feb. 29 and March 1-2. Sunday matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 and March 3. The Feb. 29 performance will be ASL interpreted.

Tickets are $17 for general admission, $12 for students and seniors, $7 for 爆料公社 students with their ID and free for Sisters of the 爆料公社 Monastery. by contacting the Spotlight Box Office at 218-723-7000.
